Ay-ooh!
No, ha. It's another sleepless night. Today I've been feeling sick as a dog, nauseous on and off for no reason...or food poisoning, but luckily everything has stayed down. On a lighter note, since I'm up with nothing to do, of course I'm blog surfing, and what do I find but the official music video for a lovely song by the lovely Coldplay. "Strawberry Swing." Here's the link since the video has a block on embedding. I have to agree with the blogger at Truly Madly (whom I just stumbled upon only moments ago, and who brought this video to my attention) on her sentiments that this is one of the most creative videos I've ever seen. Yes, it's been done before...but in this world, really, what hasn't? As if I needed any more reasons to love them...one time I had a dream about Chris Martin, I don't remember what happened, but I mean, it's Chris Martin.
Side note, the-n is on my tv now with the exact same episode of 'What I Like About You' on as was on Idk 10 hours ago. Good thing it's on mute, that show was good...when it was once a week, and new. The only show I can never get sick of on repeats is....yes, that's right 'Fresh Prince' and maybe 'Cheers' no I'm kidding...

Speaking of desperation, last and possibly least. I! Will admit, I do not think that Scarlett Johansson has a lick of talent in her, acting wise at least, there was a time, dear readers, when I did not believe that to be so, but that was a long long time ago. But hark! she's branched off, she's now a singer/actor deal. Now I don't know much about her first attempt, except that it seems somewhat of a fail. But...this new album with Pete Yorn - "Break Up" well I confess, the first single, 'Relator' reeled me in, so I! bought the album. Before you stop reading due to that persistent shudder down your spine caused my this topic I have to tell you it was the $2.99 mp3 version on amazon. To make the rest of this short and sweet. 'Relator' and 'Clean' are songs I can get behind, I'll have to sit with the rest. The link if you dare venture a listen.

Umm yeah... that bit about Scarlett Johanssen? She bothers me, and at least she might be in less movies if she decides to be a singer.
ReplyDeleteOh me oh my, my first comment, on my birthday no less, and I've no clue until a month later. Tisk tisk. I agree with you, less movies would be great. I was actually talking to one of my friends today about S.Joe's failure to emote and therefore deserve the ridiculous amounts of money she makes for being born pretty and calling it a craft...soap box! Ha. Oh well. Might I ask, what about her bothers you?(p.s. thanks for commenting)
