So, anyway, there are these pants that are gaining popularity to my dismay. These monstrosities...
HAREM PANTS...or what they are really called way back in the NINETIES, Parachute pants. Or more affectionately, Hammer pants.
These pants have no place in couture. NO PLACE. They are pants to schlep around in or sleep in, not to be paired with a pair of prada heels and a gucci shirt! what's going on?! who let this madness go on for this long. I remember when I first saw them, oh, i thought to myself, those won't last. BUT THEY DID. Why!? I'm going to get to the bottom of this unfortunate fad, before harem mc hammer parachute pants take over the world!!!
i think there are certain people who can pull them off but for the most part, they should just stay in people's time capsules somewhere. great post!! :)
